They are two of the finest young guitar players in the scene today and continue to provide audiences with high energy and soulful performances up and down the east coast and beyond.

Sonya can be seen playing at New England's most popular venues, including: The Beehive, Atwoods Tavern, The Beat Brasserie, Menotomy Grill, Chianti’s, Bostonia, Bond (Langham Hotel), Aeronaut Brewery, Whisky on the Water, and many, many more.

Hailing originally from Boston, MA, Sonya spent most of her early career in the New England circuit, playing as a hired side-woman guitarist for numerous singer-songwriters and instrumental groups both on tour and in the studio as a session player. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2010 with studies in guitar performance and film scoring, Sonya met acclaimed guitarist Ryan Taylor and it wasn’t long before the two were married. The couple moved to live in music capitol of the country, Austin, TX, where the guitar playing team had the opportunity to play with some of the city's top singers and musicians. The Taylors’ guitar playing is featured on the live album of one of Austin's most popular and revered soul artists: Tameca Jones.

It was in Austin that Sonya began to find her own voice writing original songs. Two Nashville publishers noticed her work and soon enough Sonya was signed to BMG Chrysalis and 3-Ring Circus Publishing. She moved to Nashville shortly after signing on as staff songwriter, and continued writing and recording songs that were to be pitched to country music’s leading artists.

After composing songs for and playing guitar behind artists for years, Sonya finally decided to start her own project along with husband Ryan Taylor. The power team can be seen playing at New England’s most popular venues, and an EP is in the works for summer 2017.
